10./11. December

Alright I admit it, I failed to upload a post yesterday. I was going to do it but got caught watching "The World's End" yesterday. I comedy by the makers of "Shaun of the Dead" and something else, and it's a very strange plot that stops to make sense half way through.

Today, however, I had my first shopping spree in ages! Halia took me to an op shop where she had seen a dress I could wear to the ballet on friday. Her description said it was "Marilyn Monroe like halter neck in red". Once we got there she was very eager to give me many more options and so in the end we spend between one and two hours there.

It was lovely because everyone walking past the changing room made their comments. "Oh, you look gorgeous!", said the first old lady who had a look in her eyes saying 'I would like to be young again.' Just like Oma sometimes who keeps wanting my hair ;) Later one woman was trying on a few cardigans and got interested when Halia spoke about the spotty dress. "Oh the dress you are wearing is so cute, but could you put on the spotty one? I really love spots." Two ladies working there also engaged in the conversation and all waited patiently for my next presentation.

The spotty dress itself was pretty cute, but on the side you can't see at the moment it had long white stripes, that we didn't see at first, but where actually very noticeable. So, to the disappointment of most spectators, it fell out of the options. Our overall winner, was the dark blue one, which "resembles snowflakes". Everyone agreed that it looked very cute and chic. Also very interesting to see what the cut of a dress can do to bust sizes, if you compare the one below with the red one further up.

Halia also pulled a few top options and brought matching pants for me. The sort I would usually never wear in my free time, because they are to business costumy but they actually fell quite nicely. The top below she chose because of the Greek Antigone resemblance.

With all these photos please note, that I did not wear make up and had not done my hair, so I will definitely (hopefully) look much nicer on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed.
Below I will present to you a closer picture of the shoes and other angles of the red super elegant dress, that got many thumbs ups and approving nods. With a white scarf it looks pretty christmassy actually.

Lots of love especially to dad who I wish all the best and a quick recovery.
Skipper
