Little elves and reindeers,

today I spent a lot of time out in the park in the wind and rain practicing some songs with Kevin, from Germany. Before the rain picked up we sat out in the open, but when it got heavier we joined a group of pick nickers, who paid us for our musical service - although not with money, but much appreciated water melon. Our session went on for about four hours straight and towards the end I was sure I was going to lose my voice that had been weakened from a cold to start with. But Chris came to pick me up and spontaneously decided to invite Kevin over for dinner, who must have had the nicest meal in four months! There I cured myself with a hot camomile-vanilla-honey tea (yumm) and watched Kung Fu Panda 2!

We added Marry You - Bruno Mars to our repertoire today (and till tomorrow I have the quest to memorize 6-8 songs... yeaaaah.), anyway I have to warn you before I present today's treat. The recording below might be the second time we did this. Recorded on my phone. With a strained voice as this was the second last song of our session. And yes, my voice sounds weird and it does break. But at least we still got applauded... Actually this recording just reminds me I have to work on it more and improve my intonation again. Well, it's not a christmas carol, but please do enjoy!
